Uh Oh- Production Blog

Hey blog, today was supposed to be a big day for our short film. We planned it out to finish shooting the last few clips. Everyone was going to come over to my place at 6:30pm. Natalia and I even had to work in the morning, but we were ready. But, you'll never guess what? I got the FLU and it hit me like a truck. No work for me and no filming either. I’ve had the flu before when I was in 6th grade, but I don’t remember it being this bad.It all started last Friday. I was visiting the University of Miami, checking out the campus, but I had to leave early because I started feeling really sick. Then, this morning, I woke up feeling even worse with a fever. I got tested, and yep, it was the flu. So, I had to text the girls and tell them I couldn’t do the filming. We thought maybe they could film some parts without me, but it turns out all the scenes we need to shoot have me, Carly, and Natalia in them. Looks like we’ll need to figure out a new plan for filming after I get better.For now, I’m going to take a nap and try to get some rest. Getting sick like this was definitely not part of the plan, but it’s just how things go sometimes. We’ll figure it out, and in the meantime, I’m just going to focus on getting better. It’s a bummer, but it’s not the end of the world. We’ll get back to filming as soon as we can. See you later blog!
