Last minute filming- Production Blog
Hey Blog! Happy leap day! I think it's so crazy. Me and my friends filmed a little after school today. We went to a park to get the funeral scene out of the way. Since I'm technically "dead" in the scene, I acted as one of the background people, making it look more realistic. We all wore black and filmed at a park by my house. We did a few different angles. This is going to be helpful if we need some extra scenes to make the time mark. After that, I tried again to get them to film the actual scenes. Nat was a little embarrassed to film in front of other people at the park, but she got over it for the sake of the film. I don't blame her; there were a lot of judgmental kids watching. But the film must go on! After that, Nat had work, so she left right away. I went home because I still wasn't feeling 100% after having the flu, so I got some rest. I'll need all my nerve for our last filming day on Saturday. Despite the challenges, we managed to capture some crucial scenes for the film. The varied angles at the park added depth and authenticity to our funeral scene. The decision to wear all black created a somber atmosphere, fitting for the scene's theme. The presence of onlookers, particularly judgmental kids, tested our dedication, but we persevered for the sake of our project. As the day wrapped up, Nat's work commitment and my lingering flu symptoms prompted an early departure and some much-needed rest in preparation for our final filming day on Saturday. Ill talk to you later blog!!
