Filming day!! - Production Blog

 Hey blog! Wow I have a lot to update you on. My group and I officially started filming yesterday. Natalia, Carly, Sofia, and my cousins Reese and Ashley came over to get the house scenes out of the way. There were a lot of costume changes because the movie takes place over the span of multiple days. My room was a total mess, leaving a lot to clean up. I made sure that all the angles meet the requirements. Sofia filmed on her phone and while Nat, Carly, and I act. Reese helped make everything go a little smoother. For example, I have three dogs and they were barking a whole LOT so Reese and Ashley help keep them quite during filming. After the group finished all the scenes taken at home, it was time to move to the mall. Sofia offered to drive since she knows I hate driving. Everyone loaded up into her suburban and went. Carly and Sof road in the front while me, Nat, Reese, and Ashley were in the back. It was a little crammed but only for a few minutes. I thought we should get the filming out of the way as soon as we are there but Nat and Carly wanted to shop. We went to Pacsun first, Sofia ended up filming some candid shots when we weren't paying attention. This is going to be helpful if we need some extra scenes to make the time mark. After that I tried again to get them to film the actual scenes. Nat was a little embarrassed to film in-front of other people at the mall but, she got over it for the sake of the film. The other girls could tell I started to get a little annoyed after it was taking more than 3 shots because they were getting shy. So Sof thought it would be a good idea to take a break at the food court. After I ate I was a lot more calm. I guess I was just a little hangery lol! After filming everyone had a lot of homework to catch up on so they all went home, leaving me time to spend with my cousins. My group is gonna plan another day to finish the rest of the scenes.
